We are a community of theatre kids who have come together to make a difference. We have all noticed that the world is changing rapidly, and we want to be part of it.

Who We AreTake ACTion was founded by ACT-1 (Academy for Children's Theatre) Managing Director Sierra Fisk, after realizing that theatre can be a tremendous force for good. The goal was to get more involved in the community not just as individuals but as an organization. Students loved the idea and soon, Take ACTion formed a community and a purpose.

What We Believe InTake ACTion strives for a loving and caring community. We work for the things that matter to us like supporting the essential workers during Covid-19 and supporting/donating to the Black Lives Matter Movement, ACLU, NAACP, and The Bail Project. Through banners, letters, food drives, and fundraisers we try to make our world a better place.
